He has a new name and mysterious new “friends” who will teach him to speak the language and to blend in with the people in Bologna. This book has all the elements of a good spy story! Of course, had Backman done that, this book would not exist.


When we are first introduced to Backman, he is described in such terms that make you glad he got caught. In this novel, the process goes a little too corrupt.
